Dave, It appears that the log files for the metar2nc(1) and syn2nc(1) decoders follow the pattern ~/logs/<progname>.<YYYYMMDD>.asc, where <progname> is "metar2nc" or "syn2nc" and <YYYYMMDD> is the date.
