The links on the LDM home page are wrong.  I'll look into why it is showing the incorrect version.  In the meantime, you can find the latest LDM docs, etc. under the downloads link on the left side of the LDM page:

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/ldm/#documentation

Just kidding. Seriously, though, the reason why I am emailing is to let you know that http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/ldm is showing the current version of LDm as 6.12.7, is which is way old. I didn't know if you, or someone answering the Plaza email was responsible for this, so I CC'd Plaza as well.
