Hi Gilbert, re: We do not like to take down/restart the nodes in idd.unidata.ucar.edu > But doesn't that suggest that newer versions aren't important, and that we > shouldn't upgrade? No, not at all. In fact, each site's LDM administrator should review the release notes for new releases and decide if there is a new feature or bug fix that is important to his/her operations. Since we do no processing of the data flowing through idd.unidata.ucar.edu real server backends, some new features will have no effect on the services being provided, so we have no compelling reason to upgrade. If we feel that a new release has a feature or bug fix that is critical, we will advise all LDM to upgrade. re: I am working on a hypothesis that the problem that Pete is seeing > OK, please keep me posted. Thanks! We will update this ticket when we learn more...
