All, I noticed many entries like this in the LDM log file on Uni19.unidata.ucar.edu (our LDM cluster computer that's feeding Bigbird): Dec 30 18:03:12 uni19 bigbird.tamu.edu(feed)[25536] WARN: [forn.c:41] Subscription reduced by one or more existing subscriptions: 20121230180303.763 TS_ENDT {{FNMOC, ".*"}} -> 20121230180303.763 TS_ENDT {} The above meant that Bigbird was making multiple requests for the same FNMOC data from our cluster. This lead me to the following entries in the LDM configuration-file on Bigbird: request NOGAPS ".*" idd.unidata.ucar.edu request FNMOC ".*" idd.unidata.ucar.edu request NOGAPS|FNMOC ".*" weather3.admin.niu.edu NOGAPS is an alias for FNMOC and Weather3 doesn't receive FNMOC data; consequently, I deleted the first entry above, commented-out the last entry (after changing "NOGAPS|FNMOC" to just "FNMOC"), and restarted the LDM.
