Hi Jeff, re: weird bug on CentOS I am running LDM-6.9.7 with a 2 GB queue on a CentOS 5.6 system here in the UPC, and I have had no problems. As far as I know, several Unidata community members are running various versions of the LDM under CentOS 5.[56], and none have reported the problem that you reported. So, the question is why? re: > I reduced the queue to 3g (from 4) same error .. > reduced to 2g no problem re-made the queue and started right up.. > > now the question .. is 2gb big enough for Level 2 and Level 3?? It would depend on how long you want/need products to live in the queue. Volume plots for nodes in the IDD can guide you on how much space is needed for any particular combination of datastreams.
