Is there more than one REQUEST entry in the LDM configuration-file on Ldad to
the Arps LDM? Doe the high-latency files arrive due to one REQUEST entry and
the low-latency files arrive due to a different REQUEST entry.

The maximum latency threshold is set by the $max_latency variable in the
ldmadmin(1) configuration-file, etc/ldmadmin-pl.conf. You may edit it as
desired.

I'm astonished that a product-queue whose size is set to "2G" could become over
6 gigabytes in size. I have no
explanation for this.

Then it might be difficult to increase the size of Ldad's product-queue to
greater than about 4 gigabytes.
