Paul, > No, the ldad ldm requests are all to an ip address on the firewall which > forwards it directly to the arps box. Is there more than one REQUEST entry in the LDM configuration-file on Ldad to the Arps LDM? Doe the high-latency files arrive due to one REQUEST entry and the low-latency files arrive due to a different REQUEST entry. > Can this latency threshold be adjusted? The maximum latency threshold is set by the $max_latency variable in the ldmadmin(1) configuration-file, etc/ldmadmin-pl.conf. You may edit it as desired. > By "default 2G" do you mean that output from the command "ldmadmin config" on > Arps shows that the size of the product-queue is set to "2G"? > > Yes. I'm astonished that a product-queue whose size is set to "2G" could become over 6 gigabytes in size. I have no explanation for this. > The ldad system is 32 bit. Then it might be difficult to increase the size of Ldad's product-queue to greater than about 4 gigabytes.
