Hi Dave,
I found a site that has what appears to be the information you are looking
for wrt running an application at boot time on a Mac:
http://www.osxfaq.com/Tutorials/LearningCenter/HowTo/Startup/index.ws
The first part of this talks about starting a program at user login. Further
down, there is a section about starting a program at system boot. That
is where you should start.
Please let us know if this helps...
Cheers,
Tom
