[LDM #TQL-592749]: KU Geography question about LDM

The LDM runs great on our 64-bit, dual Xeon system.  I would be very
surprised if it didn't work under Scientific Linux -- but one never
knows until one tries.  If it won't work, then I can probably modify
it so that it will.
