That's often enough that it might be possible to discover the problem
by using a TCP snooper on your system. Would you be willing to do
that?

I don't understand. With version 6.4 of the LDM it's no longer possible
to designate a request as only PRIMARY or SECONDARY. For a given
feedtype and pattern, the first REQUEST entry in the configuration-
file will result in a PRIMARY-mode connection -- all the remaining
REQUEST-s with the same feedtype and pattern will be in ALTERNATE
mode. That can change, however, as time passes.
