>From: "Alliss, Randall J." <address@hidden> >Organization: NGC >Keywords: 200511151537.jAFFbu7s016602 LDM bufr Hi Randy, >We are starting to use the WRF model and for the surface and upper-air >data it requires the BUFR format. I assumed this data was available via >the noaaport, however, I can not seem to locate it. I have a /data/bufr >directory but it is empty. Is it possible the data comes in as bufr, is >reformatted to McIDAS format and then deleted. I need to know how you are processing the data. Presumably, your NOAAPORT ingest system is inserting products it receives from the NOAAPORT broadcast and inserting them into an LDM queue. After this, it is sent to another host that is doing some processing on the data. Now the question is what actions have you setup to run? >How do I retain access to this data. I must understand your processing pipeline before I can comment. >Thanks, No worries.
