The top-level LDM server will terminate all child processes and then itself if any process started as a result of an EXEC entry in the LDM configuration-file terminates due to a severe condition (e.g. a segmentation violation). This is because the LDM server has no way to determine how important the process is to the LDM system as a whole. Regards, Steve Emmerson
