Note that the connection from "localhost.localdomain" was rejected while
the top-level LDM was in "verbose" mode but not "debug" mode.

Try it again.  Monitor the tail of the LDM logfile.  Don't try the 
notifyme(1) until you see the "Adding debug".

The "notifyme" file that you sent was a binary file.  I suspect it was the
notifyme(1) program itself rather than the output from running the
notifyme(1) program in debug mode.  Please try it again.
