I'm trying to improve the behavior of the LDM software when connecting
to host "ldm.meteo.ec.gc.ca" but I can't test the modifications because
the connection keeps timing-out:

    Jun 19 19:41:51 gilda.unidata.ucar.edu ldm[27039]: ERROR: requester6.c:459; 
ldm_clnt.c:242: Couldn't connect to LDM 6 on ldm.meteo.ec.gc.ca using 
portmapper; ldm_clnt.c:112: : RPC: Rpcbind failure - RPC: Timed out

Would you please tell me what the LDM logfile on host
"ldm.meteo.ec.gc.ca" has for this UTC time and whether the LDM's
configuration-file (etc/ldmd.conf) has an ALLOW-entry for computers in
the domain "unidata.ucar.edu" and, if so, what that entry is?
