Hi Art,

I took a quick look at the real time statistics that ldm.meteo.psu.edu
is reporting back to rtstats.unidata.ucar.edu and see that you are
still using aliases for feeds: thelma1, etc. Since LDM-6 does not
force one to create aliases for upstream feed sites (each request
line in ldmd.conf results in a separate rpc.ldmd), and since our
real time statistics work off of actual machine names, it would be
advisable for you to edit your ldmd.conf file and change all aliases
to the actual machine names. This way, the 'topology' link under

http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/staff/chiz/rtstats/index2.shtml?ldm.meteo.psu.edu

will allow for generation of differential latency plots.

Thanks in advance for the change(s).

Tom

Tom,

Okay, I got rid of the aliases.

                       Art.
