Good Morning, Jeff,

Your ldm had stopped. I don't know why - when I first logged in the only
log file was a 0 length file. The date on the queue was 05:34 on 12/8,
which may indicate when the ldm stopped working.

I tried to restart the ldm, but things weren't working right. In
particular, in the log I did not see the FEEDME messages being sent to
your upstream sites. And 'ldmadmin watch' just sat there with no
output. So, I deleted and remade the queue. Things seem to be working
now.

I also put /usr/bin in the path for the ldm account. Otherwise, when
you run ps you were getting /usr/ucb/ps which has different output than
/usr/bin/ps. I suspect that was causing a problem for 'ldmadmin', which
wouldn't delete the queue because it thought the ldm was running when it
really wasn't.

As to where the logs are, they are in ~ldm/logs. Right now you'll see
ldmd.log, ldmd.log.1 and ldmd.log.2. There are several because I
attempted to restart the ldm twice.

Hope you're on the right track now!

Anne
