Hi Jeff,

I talked with Steve about the dcgrib problems you're seeing.  At least
one is due to a new product that your 5.4 version of GEMPAK doesn't
handle.  We don't support 5.4 any more and haven't for some time.  I
strongly recommend that you upgrade to the current version, 5.6.  What
do you think?
