The ldm wasn't running so I started it OK. I found out that your install doesn't have any of the gempak decoders installed so you log files have bunches of errors about it. That could be one reason that the LDM runs in an abnormal mode. I would comment the pqact entries out until the decoders are installed. I also tried to run the stats program, I did the mail command in verbose mode. Here's the result: wxbox% /usr/ucb/mail -v address@hidden < *.upc wxbox% address@hidden... Host unknown (Name server: mailhost.mscd.edu : host not found) ldm... aliased to ldm@wxbox /usr/local/ldm/dead.letter... Saved message in /usr/local/ldm/dead.letter Either the mailpqstats script uses the wrong mail program of the mail host can't be found. I also tried Mail with the same results so I think it the mail host can't be found. I left the LDM running, the install looks OK.
