(Currently we are dividing up the ldm support so Jeff handles maintenence of the network of ldms while I handle questions specific to the LDM software.) You can put your data anywhere you like. The only restriction is that the ~ldm/data directory must be local if that's where your product queue resides, i.e., the product queue must be local. Data directories do not have to be local, although it is recommended that they be local because the LDM will perform better if they are. If you follow these guidelines, you can make links for data in your data directory to whatever directories you want. 152Mb sounds relatively small, but it really depends on what you're getting and how long you want to keep it. Which products are you interested in? You can configure how often scour runs. It's time units are days. The configuration file for scour is ~ldm/etc/scour.conf. See the man page for scour for more info. Anne -- *************************************************** Anne Wilson UCAR Unidata Program address@hidden P.O.
