It's 300029 not 300039, but output is ok.

But rpcinfo -p give output, right.

In bin/ldmadmin:

On line 636:

    while(check_running() || check_registered());

remove one of the procedures check_running or check_registered and then
try to start the ldm. If it doen't help reverse, the one removed. Before
one does this, you need to execute:

% ldmadmin clean

This removes the lock file. 

If this doesn't work maybe a login to the machine so I can take a look at
it.

This is correct output.

Our dec machine is running a different version os, so that's not good for
debugging.
