Fernando, We have been having trouble with our data servers in the recent past, but most of these problems should be behind us. Make sure you are using the most recent version of the IDV: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/downloads/idv/current/index.jsp Make sure you are accessing: http://thredds.ucar.edu/thredds/catalog.xml There are several ports you need open at your institution in order to run the IDV so that it may connect to different data servers. In general, ports 112, 8080 and 80 are required.
