[IDV #GDP-676610]: Ensemble 2D field contours have no vertical position?

Brian,
     If the variable is 2D in space, the IDV control should have a vertical 
slider. The vertical position for all 3D variables is fixed and you can only 
use the bring to front to do the trick even though you are creating a 2D in the 
plan view display.
