Catherine, We are still trying to track down the case study for the December, 2010 atmospheric river case study. For Sandy data, please go to the IDV "Data Choosers" tab and select the "Catalogs" node in the left panel. Open the "IDV Catalog" --> "Example Bundles from the Unidata RAMADDA Server". Therein you will find a "Hurricanes" node, and in there you can find Sandy data. Please keep us up-to-date on your progress. Best Wishes, Unidata IDV Support > Hello!
