Hi Stefan, You need to thank Don for adding this new feature into the IDV. For your question about plotting single degree Hovmoller, there is not user interface doing this directly. But, you can bring up the properties panel (under Field Selector, right click on the data source), and do the subset there (setting both longitudes the same value in the bounding box). I will check with Don about your concern in this design. Yuan This might be difficult, but would be awesome if you could do: create the hovmoller by entering the constant degree of longitude/latitude, how many degrees of averging should take place surrounding that constant degree(if any) and how large the domain should be(in both x/y and t), all by entering numbers. I know you can set the domain via the map on the field selector, but it is not as exact as I would want for research.
