Hi Katie, > Hi there. I want to script the IDV to capture the frames of the > dashboard. The display in the dashboard is exactly > what we're looking for and I want to capture those frames instead of the > images on the main viewer. Is there a way to do this (in a script)? > We sort of support this but its buggy and does not work right. The idea is to supply the identifier of a display in the image or movie tag, e.g.,: <image display="id of display to capture" ...> and the IDV will capture the gui of the display. The problem is that you can only capture the entire GUI of the cross section display and for technical reasons the actual cross section does not show up in the captured image, just the GUI surrounding it. There are also probably problems with capturing animations as well. I am actually on vacation right now (not quite sitting on a beach yet but later today I will be) so I probably won't get this fixed this week but I will take a crack at it next week. -Jeff Ticket Details =================== Ticket ID: WNV-189864 Department: Support IDV Priority: Normal Status: Open
