Subject: 20051213: IDV v1.3b? Date: Tue, 13 Dec 2005 16:13:51 -0700 From: Jeff McWhirter <address@hidden> Organization: Unidata To: Dave Dempsey <address@hidden> CC: Don Murray <address@hidden>References: <address@hidden> <Pine.GSO.4.58.0512131416160.25961@norte>
Hi Dave,
Using IDV v1.3a4 (though it bills itself as v1.3b1) I've encountered another possible bug, at least on the Mac (in particular, on both of the Macs that I've tried so far, both running OS X 10.4.3). Using drawing control, I can draw line, rectangle, diamond, and waypoint shapes just fine, whether I'm viewing an image in it's original (unzoomed and unpanned) state or in a zoomed (in or out) or panned state. However, smooth polygon, polygon, and text seem to work only when I'm viewing an image in its original state. In a zoomed and/or panned state, the cursor draws nothing when I've selected text or either polygon from the shape icon-menu, while the other four shapes continue to draw OK regardless of the view state. Restoring the original view after panning and/or zooming reenables drawing of all shapes.
Humm, I cannot seem to replicate this. Are you drawing with the default lat/lon/alt location? -Jeff
