Hi Brian- It took me a while to figure this out, mostly because I couldn't spell the file name right in my grib1lookuptable.lst. ;-) Brian Blanton wrote:
OK, now this is in ~/.metapps/DefaultIdv -rw-r--r-- 1 bblanton bblanton 9K Aug 31 08:48 nceptab_2.tab-rw-r--r-- 1 bblanton bblanton 44B Aug 31 10:32 grib1lookuptable.lstNow, grib1lookuptable.lst has in it: 3:-1:-1:nceptab_2.tab 0:-1:-1:nceptab_2.tab with the same error message.
I think the solution is to make this: 3:-1:2:nceptab_2.tab 0:-1:2:nceptab_2.tab (at least it worked on my system). I guess the only thing that can use the -1 (to specify any) is the subcenter. Let me know if this doesn't work for you.
A sample file, with center=0, is attached. If I force center=7, this file is read in.
Thanks, that helped out.
I appreciate your looking at this.
No problem. Sorry that this took so long to get working. This is a new feature and the table formats, etc are poorly documented. So, you're helping build up the knowledge base. We'll add a section on this to the next version of the User's Guide and the FAQ.
