Jeff,Or, maybe the bundles aren't supposed to be edited...so this really isn't a bug. I don't know what modifications are acceptable/allowable/etc.
Well, we don't encourage the editing of bundles. However, what you found is a bug
that can also show up in other contexts as well. -Jeff
