I have it working (sort of) in my current development release, but that won't be available for a month or so. Basically, I wrote a Jython script that would take the VisAD data object returned by the DODS request and refactor it into something useful. A better solution would be to add some conventions to handle the DODS requests. The expert on that is out of town for a while. I'll talk to him when he gets back. If I make any progress on the Jython method in the current IDV, I'll let you know.
