Just cleaning up some old e-mails.

Wind barbs are always plotted in knots and the appropriate unit
conversion is always done unless the speed unit is null.

If you just want to plot wind speed, you can use a Value type
of symbol and set the units accordingly.  If your desired unit
is not in the list, just type it into the combo box.

In the Station Model editor, Parameter Properties dialog, there is no
unit of "knots" or "mps" or "kph" for changing wind speed units.

I looked around the tutorial/help a bit but could not find any info on
defining this...
