Rich, This is a new sort of problem for the IDV. I can't recall it not being able to make isosurfaces before, if the data was suitable for 3d views. You say you can make other displays - does that include displays using the 3D character of the data, such as plan views at different levels, vertical cross sections, and vertical profiles? What sort of data file are you using? Often the best thing to do in a case like this is send us a copy of one of your data files. Can you put it on an FTP server or web page somewhere?
