Charlie,

For a power of the radar value, try this

create a new Formula as A ** 1.5  (for anything to the power 1.5)

select display type Color-Shaded Plan View 

click on "Create display"

Either : for one time, open up the parameter list "Image Sequence" and
click on the one time
you want such as 2003-04-29 19:19:00

Or: simply click on "Image Sequence" to use all the times you selected

It plots with reasonable range of values for this test of 11.2 to 407.9

A Quicktime movie of 3 time steps is attached
