Hi again Russ, I should have also added the following to my previous email: The current hardware that is idd.ssec.wisc.edu (aka adde.ssec.wisc.edu with primary name unidata2-new.ssec.wisc.edu) is not robust enough (not enough memory, disk or CPU) to be able to handle the extra 4GB/hr that the MRMS addition to FNEXRAD will have/is now having. The next incarnation of the machine, which is already running in the SSEC Data Center as unidata3.ssec.wisc.edu, does have plenty of resources, so it will be FILEing the MRMS data to disk. Since we are currently running web access on unidata2-new.ssec.wisc.edu, I assume that we will do the same on unidata3. The last I saw, we were waiting for some work to be done by TC on access to unidata3, so the transition is currently on hold.
