In on instance, the network folks swore that everything should work as they could not see what was being done to prevent things from working. It took quite some time to demonstrate that there was, in fact, a problem, and only then was a deep enough dive into security perimeter settings done to find where things were being blocked. At another site (NOAA, in this case), they still haven't figured out what is blocking our ability to REQUEST a test CONDUIT feed. This back and forth has been going for several months now!
