Hi, re: > Thanks a lot. I configured the ldmd.conf and pqact.conf-hrrr just as you > described. But running ldmadmin results in the following error msg: > > Checking the product-queue... > Checking pqact(1) configuration-file(s)... > /home/ldm/etc/pqact.conf: syntactically correct > /home/ldm/etc/pqact.conf-hrrr: syntactically correct > Checking LDM configuration-file (/home/ldm/etc/ldmd.conf)... > start(): Problem with LDM configuration-file: This is probably saying that there is some sort of a typo on your LDM configuration file, ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf. Since I don't know exactly what you did in the file, it would be easiest if you would send the file (as an attachment, not as a cut and paste listing of the file!) so we can take a look. re: > Oddly the log file (/home/ldm/var/logs/ldmd.log is empty. If there is a problem in the LDM configuration file, the LDM should not start, and the LDM log file is only written to when the LDM is running.
