Hi Jim, re: > I've got the tar file downloaded to our ~ldm home directory (/usr/local/ldm) > and did the extraction. Very good. re: > As far as the full disk setups, I'll show you the GOES-E and GOES-W IR > pqact.conf > entries to show how and where they are stored: > > # GOES-East Full Disk 10.3 um Thermal IR > # pnga2area Q5 FDC13 1335 GOES-16_IMG 10.3um 4.0km 20180420 191543 > UNIWISC ^pnga2area Q. You are differentiating images by satellite, and putting all images for a specific satellite into on directory. As a side comment: The length of time it takes for the ADDE server to created a sorted list of images is a linear function for the number of images that it has to open to extract information like date and time. re: > The entries for VIS and WV are similar and go in the same E or W directories > with the VIS files having an extension of .svi and WV files having one of > .swv. OK, got it. The first question that comes to mind is how do you want to store the remapped FullDisk images (directory structure and naming)? The next question is how you would like to proceed? In my mind, the options are for you to take a stab at modifying the files that you unpacked this morning, or if you want me to make a stab at making all of the changes, and then repackaging up the files that get changed for you to download.
