We have found that the LDM works just fine in the cloud, but it runs 24/7, so it can get expensive. OK, if the feed is continuous, but hourly bursts is not how the cloud was intended to be used for ongoing operations, and nobody wants to bring up and tear down instances every hour. Please keep us in the loop, we are very good at moving data, and hopefully we can find the sweet spot for this use.
