Please note that the following you included is optional! I would do a simple
test to see if things are OK:
<as 'ldm'>
-- assuming that you built/installed AND changed the runtime link to point
at the newly built/installed LDM version (see previous email), simply
try starting the LDM:
ldmadmin start
If you get an error/warning about the queue, simply delete and create
a new queue:
ldmadmin delqueue
ldmadmin mkqueue
And then try starting the LDM again:
ldmadmin start
If you still have problems, let us know.
OPTIONAL:

Given this, I will assume that you do not have to do anything new now.

No, especially now that (presumably) your LDM has not been running for
awhile.
