Hi Shawn, I apologize for not being able to help you out more quickly with your inquiries because we are shorthanded at the moment (I am on travel in Colombia and others are not available for other reasons). re: > I am slowly getting my pqact.conf file configured. I was wondering what > is the best means of determining what files are being sent from feeds > such as CONDUIT? The LDM utility 'notifyme' is a great resource to learn how to use. It can tell you what you are getting AND what your upstream is getting. Plus, its output contains the LDM/IDD Product IDs that you will setting up extended regular expressions to match against. An LDM installation contains man pages for all LDM utilities, so that is the first place to look (~ldm/share/man). re: > I have been using 'ldmadmin watch' to get a few things > but it seems that there must be a much easier way. 'notifyme' allows you to save its output in a disk file so you can peruse the information more at your leisure. Here is one quick example: <as 'ldm'> cd ~ldm notifyme -vl logs/conduit.log -f CONDUIT <- what you are getting notifyme -vl logs/upstreamconduit.log -f CONDUIT -h <your upstream feed host> Of course, you have to let this/these run for awhile in order to capture enough headers to get the full flavor of what is there. The other thing to do is review the pattern-action files that are delivered with packages like GEMPAK, McIDAS and THREDDS.
