Hi Brad, I hope things are going well in your booth! re: > we are seeing very low latencies for our edex so thus far the pipe appears > to be working fairly well Mike (one of our system administrators) and I were talking about the feed to your machine this morning. I, for one, find it very hard to believe that latencies you are seeing in the single ANY ".*" feed are low, but it is theoretically possible. Since the setup you have is of great interest to us, we were wondering if you would be willing to turn on real time statistics reporting for the remainder of the show. This is easily done by adding or uncommenting the ~ldm/etc/ldmd.conf line that runs the process that reports the stats: EXEC "rtstats -h rtstats.unidata.ucar.edu" If you find that this line is already uncommented in your ldmd.conf file, it is likely to mean that DNS is not resolving rtstats.unidata.ucar.edu. If this is the case, you could enable stats reporting by changing the line to: EXEC "rtstats -h 128.117.149.64" As usual, it is necessary to start/stop your LDM for any changes in ldmd.conf to take effect: <as 'ldm'> ldmadmin restart Thanks in advance for considering our request to report stats during the show...
