Hi Ptrick, re: use idd.cise-nsf.gov as a secondary feed site for NEXRAD2 data > Thanks! No worries. > Do I need to contact the site admin at idd.cise-nsf.gov and ask them to > allow my computer to request data via LDM? Since we, the Unidata Program Center, are the site admin for idd.cise-nsf.gov, you already have made the appropriate contact. Your and the TVA machine should be good to go as far as ldmd.conf NEXRAD2 'allow's on idd.cise-nsf.gov. To test this, use the LDM 'notifyme' utility from the machine(s) you want to ingest the data: <as 'ldm' on your downstream machine> notifyme -vl- -f NEXRAD2 -h idd.cise-nsf.gov If this command shows NEXRAD2 products being received on idd.cise-nsf.gov, the machine you are running the 'notifyme' from is allowed. If you get an error, please cut out and send the 'notifyme' output so we can compare it to the LDM log file on idd.cise-nsf.gov.
