Hi, The traceroutes you sent from your intended LDM/IDD machine indicate that there could be a routing problem between it and each of the two top level IDD relay nodes we are considering feeding you from. In order to further investigate this potential problem, please provide us with some more information. From your machine, please do the following and send us the output: nslookup idd.cise-nsf.gov ping idd.cise-nsf.gov nslookup idd.unidata.ucar.edu ping idd.unidata.ucar.edu Also, please send us the fully qualified name and IP address of the maching you intend to run the LDM on. Please remember that machines running the LDM and participating in the IDD must have public addresses and both forward and reverse DNS (so that the name can be translated into an IP address that is publically accessible and so that the name can be translated back into the same IP address).
