Baudouin, > yes the product name should be unique, so we could base the md5 on the > product name. Excellent. I added an option to pqinsert(1) which will cause it to compute the MD5 signature from the product-identifier rather than from the data-product's data. The option is "-i" and is documented in the new manual-page. The new version of the LDM is available at ftp://ftp.unidata.ucar.edu/pub/ldm/beta/ldm-6.4.7.6.tar.Z This version will probably become the 6.4.7 release. I haven't had time to collate the release notes, so you should read the file CHANGE_LOG in the top-level source directory. Please let us know what you discover.
