>From: Unidata User Support <address@hidden> >Organization: Unidata Program Center/UCAR >Keywords: Greetings, I couldn't find any other contact, so hope you can pass this to the appropriate person that has knowledge about a computer running our LDM software and identifying itself as packet1.bis.noaa.gov Since May 2, this machine has been sending in statistics to our real-time LDM statistics server. From these reports, we can tell that the clock on that machine is set 5 hours and 2 minutes in the future (possibly a problem between the timezone and UTC offset). The LDM software relies on the clock being set as accurately as possible, and the use of a time in the future will cause any LDM host receiving data from packet1.bis.noaa.gov to lose products in the event of the connection being broken and needing to be re-established. Please contact address@hidden if you have any questions regarding the reporting of statistics from packet1. Steve Chiswell
