Mike, It appeared that the name services on your campus were not functioning, so that thelma was not able to look up your machine name for authentication. Please let us know if you continue to have problems. Our system administrator noticed your problem earlier today and apparently identified the trouble was related to 2 DNS servers st SJSU.
