Is there a problem with Meteora?

Hi Larry,

This is James from UCLA's Atmospheric Sciences Department.
Is there some problem with Meteora? We've failed over
to Washington a lot lately. From the ldmd.logs I saw the
following:

Aug 24 17:00:40 typhoon ldmping[14751]:      NAMED  35.019720    0   
meteora.ucsd.edu  can't contact portmapper: RPC: Timed out


Everytime we reconnect to Meteora, it's in the middle of
the night (we run a failover script).
