While the SAUS70,SAUS80 do. What happens is the SAUS31,etc collectives come out after the SAUS70,80 and duplicate those same observations, only without the remarks section. This causes problems for programs that are looking for houly precipitation and tempeature information only found in the remarks section. Does anyone know why this is done this way? Is there a source that might tell me exactly which WMO headers to save so I get all of the METAR data that includes the remark sections? Thanks for any assistance. Mike Dross
