This is a reminder that NETS is planning on upgrading the ML-50 ethernet switch Monday morning at 6:30. This will cause a brief outage for portions of 1B and tower B. NETS is also going to take this opportunity to insert an additional card into the ML primary Gigabit Ethernet switch. These cards are hot swappable, so this should not impact users in any way. However, there is a slight chance that something will go wrong, in which case network connectivity in ML will be interuppted while we fix the problem. However, we do not foresee this happening. -David Mitchell ------------------------------------------- David Mitchell Network Engineer III address@hidden National Center for x1845 Atmospheric Research -------------------------------------------
