NIDS on NOAAPORT (fwd)

Subject: NIDS on NOAAPORT

Has anyone successfully received the NIDS data on NOAAPORT through the
LDM.  It seems to terminate the product on the first ETX character.  Is
there a way around this??  Plus, I don't seem to be getting much product
at all.  There are around 100 NIDS products per hour coming in and I
seem to be only getting one every 2-3 hours.

Also, is there a way to do pattern matching on the AWIPS header (not WMO
header) so I can easily sort these products out??  All NIDS products
come in on SDUS97 and it is the AWIPS header that is needed to sort the
data out.  In the example below, N0VFTG is a level 0 velocity product
out of Denver.  Current products I see are:

N0R  -  level 0 reflectivity
N0V  -  level 0 velocity
NCR  -  1km composite reflectivity (not on NIDS feeds)
NVL  -  vert int liquid
NTP  -  storm total prec
HDP  -  hourly digital precip
RCM  -  RCM products (duplicated)

pqact.conf:

WMO     ^SDUS97 .... ([0-3][0-9])([0-2][0-9])([0-5][0-9])
        FILE    data/nids/(\1:yy)(\1:mm)\1\2\3.nid
