Hi Neil, Right now I've not prepared a universal solution for this netCDF/libtool issue, but from the `doc_DATA' is used but `docdir' is undefined error I've found some chatter online which suggests upgrading automake on your system and trying again. If this doesn't work, hopefully I'll hear back from higher up the food chain about a solution.
