Briefly, I showed adding the wseta data set at: http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/gempak/tutorial/importingdata_gui.html The list of available grid data sets is composited from all possible grid data set names that appear in the mod_res.tbl file. You need to remove the model name from all entries where it appears (which can be done pretty simply with a global find and replace).
